Dyno-Fresh Ford-Cosworth BDG 2.0 Litre Race Engine

This was a customers engine that we took in part-exchange against a new FVC engine (which was period-correct for the car). We have looked after the engine since 2010 and during a recent rebuild after we aquired it, it had the following new components:

• New cylinder head
• New valvetrain components
• New cam carrier
• New pistons
• New con rods
• New crankshaft
• New bearings/gaskets

The engine is on the original Cosworth block, sump pan and injection system. The 8mm Lucas injection metering unit and high pressure fuel pump were also recently overhauled.

This is a fresh build that has only been run-in on the dyno and makes a good, strong, 295bhp (see dyno graph).

We also have 2 exhaust manifold to suit the setup - one for front engine and one for mid-engine.
